I have been coming to this restaurant for years. The service and food have been impeccable! I live in California and come here whenever I am in town. The Gordita's are the best in town. They still put the red chili in the Gordita's which is very hard to find! The green enchiladas are delicious. We have always had wonderful service. The staff is always friendly and helpful! Great restaurant!

I have always had delicious food here. Everything I tried has been tasty--including the huevos rancheros, enchiladas, huevos divorciados, chilaquiles, etc. Portion sizes are substantial, and prices are reasonable/fair. Personable waiter/manager/owner (?). Just an FYI--there is a slight charge for credit card payments.

Food was simple but great. I have the Mexican plate. Cheese enchilada, crispy beef taco, and Chile relleno. Everything had a lot of flavor, nice spice, and the staff was extremely gracious. It's a small hole in the wall but the prices are great so make sure you stop in to the Rose garden If you are ever in the area.

Food is amazing! Any negative reviews are just from dumb people! The waitresses are amazingly respectful, amazing for families, always clean! 9/10! Never fail to impress

Let me start by saying my favorite Mexican restaurant is right around the corner from this one, and I mean we go there at least once a week, so I have really high standards when it comes to my green chile. We have tried eaten here now 4 times, so I feel I have had enough variety to give a proper review. The parking in this area sucks, but they do have a private lot behind the building. If you have a problem with rough terain, you may want to keep driving. But the slight walk is worth the food. On really busy days you have to walk a block or two, but hey, at least you burned off a tortilla or two. I assume there is a front door. Never seen it, but I hear a lot of commotion coming from the front of the place, so I assume... The side/backdoor is pretty small, in a bad spot and is definitely not wheelchair friendly, but, like I said, you can try the front if that's an issue. We have always slipped in and out the backdoor. The service had been great each and everytime. Friendly, helpful and quick. Good ole Mexican plates, good tacos, and a decent green chile sauce. Who could ask for anything more?

Can I just say what an amazing amazing place this is!!!! First, the owners are amazing! This is like a true family spirited restaurant. I've been coming here for 3 years and I'm not sure why I have never Yelped about them. Today they did something truly kind that I came to update my review and realized there wasn't a review. So, the local bank out here was having issues with their bank cards. I came from work for lunch and had nothing else on me, the owner (knowing I come often) told me not to worry about it and let me take my food. Customer service doesn't get better than this. Everything on their menu is fantastic! The enchiladas montadas are soooo good! Salsa is perfection! Tacos are so good! The Tortilla soup is to die for, this is real tortilla soup. Love this place! Thanks for being a true gem in Anthony!!!!

Hidden gem! This unassuming corner restaurant in Anthony is so cute and well taken care of. Reasonable prices and enormous portions. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. They even have an Aire Master in there. Details matter. The wait staff was courteous and on point. Great coffee. We ordered green chilaquiles and they had a surprising spicy kick to them. The burrito was much bigger than expected! They gave us refills on our agua fresca, which was shocking (who does that?!). When you're done with your meal you pay up front. We will definitely be back.
